This video shows students practicing their phlebotomy and blood drawing skills in the clinical lab. It's all done under the watchful eye of a phlebotomy instructor. Drawing blood from the back of the hand is quite challenging and can be painful. Initially it requires careful observation and determination from the student to get the stick right. Sometimes it also takes a little courage, especially if you are the student being stuck.
