New Safety Plastic Collection Tubes!

Many medial offices, clinics, hospitals, and reference labs are replacing glass collection tubes with plastic collection tubes. Plastic tubes are shatter proof which prevents potential injury and hazardous spills should they drop and fall. Safer tubes also means less time spent on having to repeat blood draws because of broken tubes. Also, plastic tubes are more cost effective, since using plastic tubes reduces disposal costs and cost for rigid sharps containers for discarded tubes.

Attention: Professionals who draw blood into plastic tubes may be unaware that the so called

"non-additive" plastic tubes, such as red top plain tubes, actually contain ultra-fine clotting agents!
